UG的齿轮模具CAD/CAM_锥齿轮模具五轴计算机辅助设计与制造 摘要:基于UG平台进行了齿轮模具的计算机辅助设计及制造(CAD/CAM),完成复杂形状零件的整个设计、加工过程。
UG软件是当今应用最为广泛的大型CAD/CAE/CAM 集成化软件之一,计算机辅助设计、计算机辅助制造作为主要的功能模块,广泛应用于航空、航天、汽车、造船、通用机械和模具等产品加工制造领域。CAD/CAM 系统提供了一个基于过程的产品设计环境,使产品开发从设计到加工真正实现了数据的无缝集成,从而优化了企业的产品设计与制造。
五轴联动机床的使用,让工件的装夹变得容易。加工时无需特殊夹具,降低了夹具的成本,避免了多次装夹,提高模具加工精度。采用五轴技术加工模具可以减少夹具的使用数量。另外,由于五轴联动机床可在加工中省去许多特殊刀具,所以降低了刀具成本。五轴联动机床在加工中能增加刀具的有效切削刃长度,减小切削力,提高刀具使用寿命,降低成本。
基于实验室的HS664五轴数控加工中心,将NC文件导入五轴数控机床,以三爪卡盘方式装夹工件,设定加工坐标系,完成对刀、刀具长度设置等试验加工准备之后,进行齿轮模具的粗、精加工,完成尼龙样件试切。整个设计过程从CAD建模→数控工艺分析→刀具路径轨迹生成→刀具路径2D模拟仿真→五轴数控NC代码生成→实验室样件试切,基于UG平台完成了锥齿轮模具五轴数控加工。
