GIS技术的发展和应用，为零售业商业网点的选址提供了一种新的思路和方法，很大程度上弥补了传统的研究方法的不足。更进一步，通过结合地理信息系统技术与数学模型，并且在针对传统零售网点，选址分析的基础上，对GIS三维空间分析方面的知识灵活应用，来研究如何构建基于GIS技术的、城镇零售网点的选址规划模型，并针对它的应用前景进行评价和展望。

Abstract The retail commercial network location and layout is one of the important content of the management strategy of retail enterprises. Address once selected will affect the retailbusiness planning and future development to a great extent. Due to the limitation of thetraditional methods of analysis and research, promote the development of modern business in urgent need of new technologies in order to adapt to the fundamental transformation of the modern commercial management.
The application of GIS technology to provide new ideas and methods of the retail commercial network site, the shortcoming of traditional research methods, provides a scientific and intuitive, image data and information for the scientific decision-making of commercial enterprises.
