Title  Optimal design of Helical gear pump
Abstract
This paper discusses the optimal design of helical gear pump, and sets up the minimal goal of the flow pulse, gives an optimal mathematic model of the gear for this pump. Combined with some examples, the mathematical optimization model is developed, in order to reduce the helical gear pump flow pulsation, by means of the matlab optimal toolbox function. The mathematical model is solved, compiled, and successfully run on computers. The optimization result is verified, the result shows that the optimal design, compared with the conventional design, reduces the flow pulsation, and the optimization effect is significant. Finally, the optimization parameters are used to calculate the associated dimensions of the helical gear pump, and the three-dimensional CAD model is created according to the calculated results.
