The design of shell and tube heat exchanger
Abstract：The graduation design specification is about a heat ex-changer design of shell and tube heat ex-changer, which is mainly for heat ex-changer process calculation, the change of heat ex-changer structure design and the drawing of CAD.The first part briefly introduces various types of the shell and tube heat ex-changer and their respective characteristics. And the second is the choice of flow path and flow rate . In the part of design, the first half part is the process calculation, mainly according to the given condition check to take the physical properties of objects to estimate its heat transfer area, and for the selection of heat ex-changer, heat transfer coefficient of accounting, calculate the actual heat transfer area, the pressure drop of the resistance of accounting, accounting shows that the design of shell and tube heat ex-changer can accomplish the task of heat transfer. The latter part of the design is about the structure design, mainly is according to the already selected for heat ex-changer type equipment internal parts (such as flange, takeover, baffle plate, shell) design, including material selection.
