The problem of electromagnetic simulation technology of the increasingly high demand, continuous improvement makes the calculation method of computational electromagnetics. In recent years, many scholars put forward many green's functions for the accurate and fast algorithm, but throwing pole extraction is a prerequisite for various fast algorithms for. However, comprehensive and accurate extraction of the pole is not an easy thing. This paper explores some methods of pole extraction, including:
1, in-depth study of the principle of planar layered media Green function, extensive investigation of its important applications in electromagnetic computation;

2, according to the spectral domain Green function microstrip model, analysis of a pole extraction method based on matrix pencil;
3, the above research method for numerical examples, and with the standard pole extraction method to compare, you can see the advantages of this method.
