微波电路的时域谱元快速分析

Title  Quick analysis of  microwave circuits in spectral-    element  time-domain
Abstract
There are many methods to analysis microwave circuits. Among these methods, the finite-element method (FEM) has become a more popular numerical technique because of its superior versatility in geometry and material modeling. But a large scale equation is needed to solve at every time step which leads to high computation cost .Unlike FEM, the basic function used in SEM is orthogonal polynomial, so SEM has the trait of high-order accuracy. Besides, we can get a diagonal mass matrix if the model is dispersed by rectangular hexahedron and we can get mass-diagonal matrix if the model is dispersed by curving hexahedron. When the time discrete format is middle-difference scheme, the coefficient matrix of equation is only related to mass matrix and it is easy to get the inverse matrix. So the solving complexity of equation is reduced largely, and the solving time is also decreased.

When SETD is used to analyze microwave circuits such as the microstrips and the waveguides，it is needed to set appropriate boundary condition. We find PML and the absorbing boundary condition (ABC) all have very good performance in this paper.
