摘要旅游景点名称意义突出, 文本类型多样,同一名称中也会含有不同文本类型。而且,它们的主要功能随着其中所含的不同的具体涵义而不同,因此其翻译方法也要根据不同的功能作用灵活选择。本论文将以交际翻译为理论根据,以河北省的旅游景点为例,探讨旅游景点名称的翻译方法,追求更灵活、更自然的翻译效果,以到达翻译内容与功能的统一。这些翻译方法包括选择恰当对等词、注明景点类型词、根据名称功能选择性音译等等。这将有助于河北省旅游景点名称有针对性地、更系统地改善当前翻译中汉英不对等、景点类型不明确、过度音译等问题,使其翻译向更变通且有效的方向发展。16252

Title    A Study of the English Names of Scenic Spots from the Perspective of Communicative Translation Theory                                               
 ---- the Case of Scenic Spots Names in Hebei Province                                                 
Abstract
The names of scenic spots actually contain all kinds of significance and belong to various text-types. Even the same scenic spot name could contain more than one text-type. What’s more, scenic spot names’ key functions will vary with their different meanings or connotations. Therefore their translation should be flexible. This research aims to discuss and explore proper translation methods for the names of scenic spots in Hebei Province under the guidance of Peter Newmark’s communicative translation theory which emphasizes the harmony between the translation text and the function of the names and pursue a more flexible translation effect. These methods include the selection of right equivalent, the indication of generic names, selective transliteration and so on. It can help improve the present translation problems like non-equivalence, the exclusion of generic names and excessive transliteration, and will contribute to a smoother, more effective and more natural process of the translation in this field. 源自六;维,论/文.网*加7位QQ324`9114 www.lwfree.cn
