In every aspect, the writing style of Emily Dickinson is dramatically different from poets of the same period. Her poems are always short, and the longest of her verse is just50 lines. Each of her works has its own charm, and there are few poets can use such unique creativity to create. Some critics said that Emily Dickinson performed her works with fresh approach, just like no one had written poems. These techniques are of personal touch. So only 6 of her poems were published while she was alive. Emily Dickinson never titled the poem, so it is commonly referred to by its first line.
