This paper mainly studies the low wind speed wind power generation system, and
mainly introduces the main components, impeller, a mechanical transmission device,
a generator and a power converter operating characteristics are in detail, and the
establishment of a detailed mathematical model On this basis, using Matlab / Simulink

environment to finish the simulation, and get the Operation characteristics of the
wind power generation system, and to do some analysis and research to a certain
extent  This would lay a foundation for the subsequent study on the operating
characteristics and control strategy design of simulation analysis low speed wind
power system
