Title     Analysis and Design of a New Three-Level   Power Factor Corrector
Abstract
With the significant advantages for low loss and high efficiency, switching
power supply has become the most widely use in today's industrial
technology as a power supply device. However, its rectifier side is often
connected to AC mains  with no-controllable diode circuit so that harmonic
current and reactive power may be produced in the AC side, which could
reduce the power factor of the AC side and cause a series of harmonic harm.
This paper focuses more in-depth study on the power factor correction
technology at first, with detailed discussion and comparison of different

control methods. Then, put forward a topology of Boost three-level APFC
circuit under the average current control method through combining
three-level DC transform technology and power factor correction
technology. After that, simulate the external character of Boost
three-level APFC circuit and verify the theory of its work with the Simulink
module of Matlab. At last, design the parameter of a Boost three-level APFC
circuit in detail and simulate its structure through the Saber.
