Title   Thermodynamic analysis and research of asynchronous  Machine oriented to new energy application
Abstract
Generator is an important component of the wind power generation system. As a measurable physical quantity,temperature plays an important role. The running status of components of wind power generation system can be achieved by monitoring the change of temperature.
This paper firstly analyzes the composition and principle of the wind power generation system,then takes doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG)for example and builds DFIG simulation module as well as wind power generation system simulation module based on Matlab.The change of DFIG electrical parameters under different wind conditions is studied.The generator loss values are computed and imported to Motor-CAD,to simulate internal heat generation characteristic of induction generator.

In addition,this paper discusses two faults:stator winding inter-turn short circuit and three-phase voltage unbalance,builds the fault models based on Matlab,and analyzes heating circumstances of generator. The result indicates that rotor surface and tooth have obvious temperature rise on both conditions.This paper proposes a useful method for thermal analysis of DFIG in wind turbine and provides insights for its fault diagnosis.
