Abstract:When the power system operation, often will happen various fault system can't normal operation, the fault is the most dangerous is the most common fault. In the event of a failure, the power system must be rapidly and selectively to remove the failure of components, then you need to in the electrical components are installed on the relay protection device to protect.
Based on transmission line longitudinal differential protection and distance protection of the basic principle and composition of the longitudinal differential protection operating characteristic and direction impedance relay in distance protection system modeling, simulation was carried out.
