Design of boiler temperature control system based on feed-forward compensation
Abstract: Boiler takes a huge effect in the domestic economic construction and people's life. And the boiler temperature is one of the most important parameters. So it is very significant to control the temperature of the boiler timely and effectively. But the temperature has the characteristic of the huge delay and nonlinear. At the feedforward-feedback control system of the boiler temperature based on the same time, the process control system has the significant delay characteristics from the interference to the control and from the controlled quantity to the regulator. So, the parameter in the traditional PID control method used in practice is not good enough currently. It has unsatisfactory setting and its accuracy of the control is too imprecise to achieve the control requirements difficultly. In this paper, I design the feedforward-feedback control system of the boiler temperature based on the MATLAB/Simulink software for the research object of the feedforward control system. Firstly, the transfer function of the branch flow to the boiler temperature is established through experiment method. Then, the mathematical model of the controlled object is established. And then, the parameter tuning can be completed through the MATLAB/Simulink software. At last, the design, the calculation of the system is completed in the lab, and the analysis of feedforward-feedback system compared to control system has a fast reaction speed, adaptability, extended using model and so on.
